FRAME SIZE
Choosing the right frame size is important to make sure you feel comfortable when riding. On our Find Your Bike page you can find the bikes which suit your size.
We always measure our frame sizes from the center of the bottom bracket to top of the vertical tube (center to top), as shown in the image below. An alternative way is to measure from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube (center to center), this is usually around 1.5cm smaller than center to top.
Besides your length, the most important measurement is your inseam length. The inseam length is the measurement from the top of your leg (the crotch) to your feet.
To measure your inseam length:
- Put on the shoes you would be wearing while riding your bike.
- Place and hold a book between your legs.
- Measure this distance from ground to the upper top of the book to find out your inseam measurement.
Finally, in the table below you can find the frame size that suits your length. On the left column you can find your height. Alternatively, on the top row you can find your inseam length. The table shows you which frame sizes suit you. For city style bikes or mixte (female) bikes you can add 1cm to the range of frame sizes you would fit due to a different riding position.
