Description:

This high quality yet elegant Gitane mixte with gears dates back to the late 1970s. The convenient low top tube and Schwalbe Delta Cruiser tires make this bike ideal for day-to-day usage. The bike is equipped with a quality Sachs Huret gear group with 10 gears in total. Low in maintenance since most mechanical parts have been replaced. 

About the brand:

Gitane bikes have been produced since the 1930s. It has become famous as a French racing brand in the 1960s up until the mid 80s. Gitane sponsored some great riders including Jacques Anquetil, Joop Zoetemelk and Bernard Hinault.
